Volunteer Incentive Program

Purpose: a way to acknowledge members for their time served helping TCBA

Incentives are only open to current paid club members in good standing
No expiration date shall exist for volunteer hours, and hours will roll over into the following membership years. However, after the 1st year accrued, value is 50% less, use it or lose it!
Club Officers are exempt from these incentives; instead a separate program will recognize their hard work and contributions.

Club Members

Ways to achieve items:

Volunteer to be in a committee = automatically eligible to win bigger quarterly raffle item without having to pay in. PLUS counts time towards other prizes!
Volunteer 30 hours = win free admittance to March Florida Bee College (over $200 value!)
Volunteer 15 hours = win a day renting the club’s extractor or $50 Mann Lake Gift Certificate
Volunteer 10 hours = $25 Dadant Gift Certificate
Volunteer 5 hours = Win a free club t-shirt and a hive tool
Volunteer at the Martin County Fair or other fundraising event = get a free club shirt!

Volunteer time may also have an exchange rate for money towards raffle items. 1 hour of volunteer time = $5 worth towards paid raffle tickets

Quarterly Raffle Items: Members in good standing may pay to enter, $10 per ticket enters your chance to win a drawing for the following. At least 12 people must pay in to each quarterly raffle item for the drawing to occur.

April – Bee Suit
August – Mead Making Kit
December (Really in November) – $100 Gift certificate to Lowe’s or 5 frame Nuc
